Niloufar Saeedi is a Canadian raised and born in Tehran Iran. She began sketching and painting in her early youth. She studied Art and specialized in Ceramics and graduated from Iran.Her goals were to raise her children in the best way. She then later returned to her major interest and started sculpting. She withheld several exhibitions in Tehran.
She decided to make a change and pursue the one thing she considered more important and satisfying — to create art in painting and in sculpture. For the past several years she has devoted all her time to this pursuit, primarily to sculpting.
Her sculptures are mostly stylized figurative with simplicity and freedom of form and with varying degrees of abstraction. Her use of textural variations in the surface finish combined with high-lighting techniques in the patination enhances the sinuous lines and curves of her sculpture.
Currently she has held numerous exhibitions in Toronto, displaying her vast variety of art works in several art mediums. Her innovative experimentation with art production utilizing various mediums has now placed her in a unique path among utmost artists. She has also pioneered the mixed media art format by combining sculpting and painting to produce a new stylized mixed media art by fusing flat paintings with three dimensional sculptures.
